the practice of becoming

from the practice of becoming

1 min read

Becoming is not a destination. It is the slow, deliberate work of allowing ourselves to be shaped — by experience, by relationship, by the accumulated weight of our own attention.

We do not become in dramatic moments of transformation. We become in the quiet repetitions: the daily choice to remain present, the willingness to be changed by what we encounter, the patience to grow without demanding completion.

The practice of becoming asks us to trust the process more than the outcome. To believe that the movement itself — however slow, however uncertain — is the work.
