learning to live while we are alive

from the practice of becoming

1 min read

There is a difference between being alive and truly living. To live while we are alive is to participate fully in the texture of existence — to feel the weight of ordinary moments, to be present to beauty and grief alike.

So often we postpone living. We wait for conditions to improve, for pain to subside, for clarity to arrive. But living is not something that begins when difficulty ends. It is the practice of inhabiting our days as they are — incomplete, uncertain, luminous.
